1. Acceptance

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using K-Trip Passport (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Definitions

  • “We”, “us”, and “operator” mean DJ.H (Do Jin-hyeon).
  • “You” means the person who creates or uses an account.
  • “Stamps” means photos you capture or pick, the circular images the app derives from them, and related crop, style, and title data.
  • “Passport holder details” means the keepsake fields you enter (portrait, names, nationality, date of birth, sex, place of birth) and the souvenir number the app generates.

3. Service description

K-Trip Passport is a souvenir album styled as a travel passport. You issue a keepsake identity spread, photograph missions through a circular viewfinder, collect stamps on visa pages, decorate them, and export a page to share. The Service is free in this version, with no in-app purchases and no ads.

Mission ideas in the catalog are prompts, not tickets, reservations, or official access. Opening hours and entry rules are yours to check.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the Service only with a parent or guardian’s consent where the law requires it. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including photography rules at the places you visit.

5. Accounts

You may sign in with email and password, Google, or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for the credentials you use and for activity on your account.

You may sign out at any time. To delete your account, follow Delete Account.

6. License to use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, solely for the Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, rent, or resell the app except as allowed by law.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos, stamps, titles, and decorations you create. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content on our servers and on devices where you sign in, solely so the Service can show it to you.

You represent that you have the rights needed to capture and keep the content, including any people who appear in your photos, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights or violate these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

The app, catalog copy, visual assets, and branding (including “K-Trip Passport”) are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer those rights to you. The souvenir layout is inspired by travel documents; it is not an official design of any government.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for anything illegal, harmful, or harassing.
  • Present the souvenir passport, stamps, or exported pages as official identification, visas, or government documents.
  • Photograph people without any consent the law requires, or film private property, restricted sites, or performances where photography is forbidden.
  • Post or store content that is illegal, sexually exploitative, or that you do not have the right to keep.
  • Create, share, or solicit child sexual abuse or exploitation material (CSAE). We will remove it and report confirmed CSAM to the relevant authority.
  • Attempt to access another user’s data, scrape the Service, or interfere with its security or operation.
  • Impersonate someone else in passport-holder fields for fraud or to mislead others about official status.

10. Not an official travel document

K-Trip Passport is a keepsake. It is not issued by the Republic of Korea or any other government. It has no legal force, cannot be used at a border, bank, or airline counter, and must not be altered to imitate a real passport. The generated number (for example a pattern like K###L####) is decorative.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. By using the Service you acknowledge that Policy.

12. Third-party services

The Service uses Firebase (authentication), Supabase (session, database, and photo storage), and Mixpanel (product analytics), and may use Google or Apple for sign-in. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their parts of the stack. We are not responsible for those third-party services.

13. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, including mission ideas in the catalog. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Stamp files and the souvenir passport are stored with your account; uninstalling the app removes the on-device cache but does not by itself delete the server copy. Use Profile → Delete account (or email us if you cannot open the app) to remove the account.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that a mission prompt is accurate, open to visitors, or safe.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, stamps, or profits, arising from your use of the Service — including loss of photos stored with the account or on a device. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which is zero while the Service is free).

16. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your photography, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

17. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service and request deletion as described on Delete Account. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 7–10, 14–16, 18, and 21) will survive termination.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer laws in your country of residence give you additional rights that cannot be waived.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top will change when we publish a revision. Continued use after the update constitutes acceptance, except where the law requires additional consent.

21. Severability and entire agreement

If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service, and they replace any prior understandings on the same subject.
